You know when three women come together who share the same fierce passion some mighty powerful stuff is gonna happen.
We are a purposeful community of women at all life stages sharing words of support, encouragement, and wisdom through discussion and writing. In an atmosphere of transparency and truth, we will gather to explore the important topics that shape our lives. In interactive workshops, round table discussions, and in-person retreats we will raise the powerful voices of women to new heights.
See you in the hive.

In Mother Words: The Faces and Choices of Motherhood
Having a mom, being a mom, losing a mom
Each one of us began our lives in the womb of our mother. She brought us into this world - body and soul - intentionally, or not; to love and care for us, or not; to teach us, guide us, and protect us, or not. For better or worse, her response to motherhood helped shape us as we chose our own path to mothering others.
Brave and courageous, resilient, often scared, sometimes confused, proud, tenacious, and yes, vulnerable, we all are given the opportunity to be nurturers, caregivers, healers, and protectors. As married moms, single moms, adoptive moms, and childless women who mother siblings, nieces, nephews, pets, or kindred spirits, we can offer profound love and support, and at times, be impatient or negligent, feeling unbearable shame when our own needs seem selfish. We stumble and fall, silently wishing we could do better. It can be daunting. Especially as our own mom may need our care, and we face losing her. A loss that can be profoundly life-changing.
Motherhood is not for sissies, and it’s not for everyone. Yet, none of us can escape having a mother and how we feel about her. It can take decades to see our mother as an individual with needs and desires, and to be seen as women by our own children. Let’s talk about the essence of motherhood and all the ways it impacts us as we offer support to one another about having a mom, being a mom, and losing a mom while honoring how we can mother our very own lives.
Along with an open dialogue and a Q&A session, our writing workshop will be devoted to writing letters to our mothers, our children, and ourselves about the mothers we are, wish we had, wish we were or could have been. Letters about the faces and choices of motherhood.
We're excited to gather in the hive for this extraordinary event!
